5. Reinstall the computer cover, and reattach the power cords.
6. Turn on the power to the computer.

5 Connecting the LSIiBBU09 Unit to the MegaRAID SAS 9271 RAID Controller
This section explains how to connect the MegaRAID LSIiBBU09 unit directly or remotely to your MegaRAID SAS 9271
RAID controller. The LSIiBBU09 product is an intelligent battery backup unit (iBBU), based on Lithium ion (LiON)
battery cell technology. The LSIiBBU09 unit protects the integrity of the cached data on a RAID controller for up to
48 hours (depending on the derated retention time selected) in case of a complete AC power failure or a brief
power outage.
The LSIiBBU09 unit can be used in two application modes:
 Mode 1 – The LSIiBBU09 unit is attached directly to the RAID controller.
