27. At the rear of the third boom section, remove the
remaining wear pads (10), shims and hardware.
Label all parts for installation.
28. Inspect all wear pads for wear. Refer to Section 3.5,
“Boom Wear Pads.”
29. At the rear of the third boom section, disconnect the
retract chain (11) from the anchor link (12).
30. Remove the hydraulic hose rack (13) inside the third
boom section.
