Pump Front Panel
2. Press and hold the pump front panel MODE button, shown above, for one second to select
therapy mode (the MODE LED will now be illuminated on selected mode; default mode is
ALTERNATE).
3. Allow time for full mattress ination.
4. After the mattress is fully inated, the caregiver can transfer the patient to the mattress.
(Note: the mattress can be inflated while a patient is lying on it). Center patient side-to-
side and head-to-foot on mattress.
5. Use the pressure adjustment knob, shown above, to set mattress pressure comfort level
setting according to patient’s weight and comfort needs.
