Ventvisor® Deflector
Preparation Before Painting / Installation
• Please review your warranty card BEFORE installation of this product.
• A trial fit is recommended to ensure proper positioning and fit.
• Check fit of parts before painting as we will not accept the return of modified or painted parts.
• Wash and dry your vehicle to remove any debris and/or dirt from the installation area.

• CAUTION - Before driving, ensure that the vent visors are properly secured to vehicle.
• Do not use automatic “brush-style” car washes.
• Do not use cleaning solvents of any kind.
• P
eriodically check all components for tightness.
• When using Surface Prep, avoid contact with skin. Use in well ventilated area. If contact is made with
material, flush area with large amounts of water. If irritation persists, get immediate medical
attention. USE PREP ON RUBBER ONLY

Preparation Before Painting / Installation

Front Visor Installation Steps

Step 1: Window Trim Preparation

Lower window, scuff trim, clean with alcohol, apply surface prep.

Step 2: Tape Liner Removal and Application

Remove tape liner from flanges, peel back ends of top flange.

Step 3: Flange Attachment

Slide front flange behind mirror cap, attach top and rear flanges to trim.

Step 4: Securing the Visor

Pull tape liners, apply pressure to flanges to secure visor.

Rear Visor Installation Note

Rear visors attach to painted surface, do not use surface prep or scotch brite.
