Prior to vehicle operation, clamps must be secured such that the clamp lips tightly grip the inner bedwall structure.
•
Only release buckles when fully installing cover.
•
After a setting period (1 week) it may be necessary to readjust the clamp load after foam isolators take a set to maintain the uniform gap
between the Genesis™ Tri-Fold Tonneau cover and bed rails.
•
Check the bracket clamp loads every 3 months or 5,000 miles.
•
The Genesis™ Tri-Fold Tonneau cover must be closed or secured with straps while the vehicle is in motion.
For proper installation and best possible fit, please read all instructions BEFORE you begin.

Preparation Before Installation

Installation Steps

Step 1A: Prepare Front Rail and Place Cover

Apply foam to front rail and position cover assembly on truck bed next to cab.

Step 2: Center Cover Assembly on Truck Bed

Align and center the cover, ensuring equal gaps on all sides.

Step 3: Remove Channel Caps

Remove plastic caps from the ends of the channels on both sides of the vehicle.

Step 4: Insert and Position Adaptors

Insert adaptors into bed sidewall tracks and slide them forward.

Step 5: Secure Front Clamps

Rotate clamps down, adjust height, and slide to edge of truck bed.

Step 7A: Unfold Second Section

Unfold the second section of the tri-fold tonneau cover.

Step 7B: Prepare Rear Rail

Ensure the rear rail is clean and apply supplied foam.

Step 7C: Unfold Third Section

Unfold the third section of the tri-fold tonneau cover.

Securing Both Rear Clamps
