Step Action Comments

Connect your PC to the CDD3000-HF
of the first drive and switch on the
power to the CDD3000-HF.
Use a standard serial cable (9-pin
D-SUB, pin-and-socket) e.g. LUST
accessory CCD-SUB90x .

START DriveManager.
Automatically connects to the linked
CDD3000-HF.
If the connection fails, check the bus settings in the Communication > Bus
Configuration menu and try again by clicking on the icon.

Save the current settings by clicking
on the icon ,
either in the parameter database
(directory: c:/../userdata) of the
D
RIVEMANAGER or to a floppy disk (a:/).
Clicking on the icon always saves the
current settings of the connected
device. Assign the file a name of your
choice.
If you are using the “Positioning, fully
programming” preset, also save the
positioning programs and data.

Disconnect with

Connect your PC to the CDD3000-HF of the next drive and switch on the
power to the CDD3000-HF.

Click on the icon to make a connection between the DRIVEMANAGER
and the newly connected device.

Choose the icon to load
the data set saved in step 3 into the
device (select all files).
The data set is stored in the device.
The selection box shows all the stored
files in the data set.

Save the setting by clicking on the “Save setting in device” button.
Repeat steps 5 ... 8 on each additional CDD3000-HF.
