4) WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD
This warranty will be in effect from (1) the date of delivery to the
first retail consumer or (2) the date the product is first put into use,
whichever occurs first and for a period of:
TWENTY-FOUR (24) CONSECUTIVE MONTHS, for private use own-
ers and TWELVE (12) CONSECUTIVE MONTHS for commercial use
owners. However, the warranty coverage period on a snowmobile
delivered between June 1
st
and Decem ber 1
st
of a given year will
expire November 30
th
of the applicable year. A snowmobile is used
commercially when it is u sed in connection with generating income
or any work or employment during any part of the warranty period. A
snowmobile is also used commercially when, at any point during the
warranty period, it has co mmercial tags or is licensed for commercial
use.
The r epair or replacement of parts or the perform ance of service un-
der this warranty does not extend the life of this warranty b eyon d its
original expiration date.
Note that the duration and any other modalities of the warranty cov-
erage are subject to the app licable national or local legislation in the
customer's country.
5) CONDITIONS TO HAVE
WARRANTY COVERAGE
This warranty coverage is available only if each of the following con-
ditions has been fulfilled:
– The 2021 LYNX snowmobile must be purchased as new and un-
used by its first owner from a LYNX Distributor/Dealer authorized
to distribute LYNX products in the country in which the sale oc-
curred;
– The BRP specified pre-delivery inspection process must be com-
pleted and documented;
– The product must have undergone proper registration by an au-
thorized LYNX Distributor/Dealer;
– The 2021 LYNX snowmobile must be purchased within the EEA
by an EEA resident, in the CIS for residents of the countries com-
prised in such area and in Turkey for residents of Turke y; and
– Routine maintenance ou tlined in the Operator’s Guide must be
timely performed in order to maintain warranty coverage. BRP
reserves the right to make warranty coverage contingent upon
proof of p roper maintenance.
