Caution ·
The probe body contains sensitive components. Never try to clean the sound apertures in the probe
body mechanically or with liquids. Doing so may cause damage to the probe.
The acoustic filter
Note · If the calibration procedure fails and the message "Probe Error!" is displayed, the acoustic filter of the
probe may be damaged or blocked by cerumen.
Ear tips
• Ear tips are disposable, but can be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
Note · Disposable articles (such as ear tips and cleaning pins) should be disposed of according to local regu-
lations.
• If this is the case, replace the filter disc (D). To do so, remove the
probe tip (see above).
• Use the cleaning wire (C) to take out the acoustic filter disc
from the probe tip and insert a new disc.
