9 Status and error messages
The status and error messages below are listed in alphabetical order.
Error message Cause Solution
• Battery charge low. • Replace the battery before
continuing with the test.
Cal FAIL • Stimulus level calibration
failed.
• Ensure stable probe place-
ment; avoid noise.
Change Battery • Battery empty < 5.5 Volt. • Replace the battery before
continuing with the test.
Clock bat low • Clock battery discharged. • Contact your service depart-
ment (battery lifetime > 2
years).
Codec failure
Note · Following the message
"Codec failure", the device is
switched off automatically
• Codec is defect. • Contact your service depart-
ment.
