Emptying the fuel pre-filter
of the water separator
Check the water separator regularly and empty it if necessary.
WARNING!
Danger of fire!
When handling fuels there is an increased risk of fire,
because fuels are highly flammable.
X Fire, naked flames, smoking, and creating sparks
must be avoided when handling fuels.
WARNING!
Danger of injury and poisoning!
Fuels can cause poisoning and irritate the skin if they
are inhaled or make contact with body parts.
X Wear protective clothing when working with fuels.

1 Fuel hand pump
2 Vent screw
3 Water separator
4 Water drain valve
X
Place a suitable collection container underneath the fuel
pre-filter.
X Open the vent screw 2 and the water drain valve 4 and allow
the water-fuel mix to drain completely.
Dispose of the drained water-fuel mix in an
environmentally friendly way.
X Close the vent screw 2 and the water drain valve 4.
