Switch on the headlight (see “Headlight” on page 52).
If the combination switch is in basic position, then dipped
beam is switched on.
3 The indicator 1 (yellow) lights up on the multi-function
display.
WARNING!
Accident hazard!
Accidents may occur when oncoming traffic is blinded
by the glare of a high-beam headlight.
X Always drive with dipped beam when there is oncom-
ing traffic.
X Press the combination switch in the direction of the arrow 1.
3 High beam is switched on. The indicator lights up on the
multi-function display 2 (blue).
X Press the combination switch back into basic position.
3 Dipped beam is switched on.
