User Profiles
You can set user profiles for various operations of the Magellan Triton that can be loaded easily.
Activating User Profiles
1. Access the Main Menu and select “View”.
2. Select “Profiles”.
3. Select Hiking, Marine, or Geocaching.
4. Press the PAGE/GO TO button to access the display options.
Press the PAGE/GO TO button again to access the map options.
Press the PAGE/GO TO button again to access the navigation options. (Magellan Triton 500
only.)
Press the PAGE/GO TO button again to access the alert options.

Backlight Level Off, Low, Medium,

Decreasing backlight
levels will increase
battery life.
Backlight Timer Off, 15 sec, 30 sec,

Sets duration of no

before the backlight
turns off.
