8.3 General Commands
8.3.1 Command 0x00 - Get Property
This command gets a property from the device. For details about properties, see section 9 Properties.
Most properties have a firmware default value that may be changed during manufacturing or the order
fulfillment process to support different customer needs.

Property Value
Property ID is a one-byte value that identifies the property. A full list of properties can be found in
section 9 Properties.
Property Value consists of the multiple-byte value of the property. The number of bytes in this value
depends on the type of property and the length of the property. Table 8-6 describes the available property
types.

Byte
This is a one-byte value. The range of valid values depends on the property.
String
This is a null-terminated ASCII string. Its length can be zero to a maximum
length that depends on the property. The length of the string does not include the
terminating NULL character.
The result codes for the Get Property command can be any of the generic result codes listed in Table 8-3
on page 67.
