2) Host sends valid Command 0x10 - Activate Authenticated Mode (MSR Only). Device responds
with result code 0x00, inferring the transition to the WaitActRply:GoodSwipe state.
3) Device times out waiting for host to send Command 0x11 - Activation Challenge Response (MSR
Only) (State => WaitActAuth:TOAuth). Host doesn’t know because the device does not send any
message.
4) Host eventually sends Command 0x11 - Activation Challenge Response (MSR Only) (State
remains WaitActAuth:TOAuth). Device responds with result code 0x07, inferring the previous
transition to WaitActAuth:TOAuth state.

Waiting for swipe. The device is waiting for the cardholder or operator to
swipe a card.

Waiting for Anti-Hacking Timer. Two or more previous attempts to
Authenticate have failed; the device is waiting for the Anti-Hacking timer to
expire before it accepts Command 0x10 - Activate Authenticated Mode.
