23.12 Lubricate Shift Linkage
Maintenance Interval – Lubricate as needed or every 100 hours, 12
months, 3,000 miles (5,000 Km)
As needed means, when shifting becomes difficult, after excessive
water exposure to the undercarriage, or excessive exposure to the
effects of salt air. Apply a quality Fluoropolymer penetrating lub-
ricant or PTFE lubricant to shift linkage pivot points. (see Figure 18)
