Cleaning the Slice™ unit
To clean the Slice™ unit:
Gently wipe exterior panel of Slice™ unit with slightly damp cloth.
Note: Do not use chemical-based or alcohol-based cleaners on the unit,
including, but not limited to, acetone, benzene and carbon tetrachloride.
Do not clean with abrasive materials. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
m Do not clean the unit while it is plugged in.
Care and cleaning of the glass cutting mat
To care for the glass cutting mat, follow these instructions:
• Use only the recommended repositionable adhesive (see step 2 page 10).
• Clean the mat with a damp cloth or mild soap and water, then promptly dry it off.
• Do not drop the mat.
• Always use on a at surface.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
• Do not wash in dishwasher.
Additional tips
• Turn the Slice™ off when not in use.
• If Slice™ unit becomes warm while using, turn it off to let it cool.
• Do not touch the blade while the unit is on.
• Store upright with protective cover on base.
• Do not store in extreme heat or cold temperatures.
• Always store out of reach of children.
