TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue: The Slice™ unit is not cutting all the way through the paper.
Solutions:
• You may need to adjust the blade pressure or replace the blade.
See “Replacing the blade” in “Basic Care.”
• You may be cutting on the wrong type of material.
See “Frequently Asked Questions.”
• You may need to clean the cutting mat and re-apply the adhesive.
See “Care and cleaning of the glass cutting mat.”
• You may be losing battery power and need to recharge the unit.
• You may need to let the unit cool for a period of time.
Issue: The design cut is distorted.
Solutions:
• You may need to home the blade.
• You may need to clean the cutting mat and re-apply the adhesive.
See “Care and cleaning of the glass cutting mat.”
• The unit may have moved during cutting. You need to lightly
hold the unit during the entire cutting process.
Issue: The Slice™ unit does not turn on.
Solution: You may need to recharge the battery.
Issue: The paper gets wrinkled during the cutting process.
Solutions:
• You may need to make sure the paper is completely at on the cutting
mat prior to cutting.
• You may need to adjust the blade pressure or replace the blade.
