IMPORTANT
Before carrying out any work, thoroughly clean the area around the drain plug and the access cover on the hydraulic tank.
Dispose of the drain oil in an ecological manner.
Place the lift truck on level ground with the mast tilted backward and lowered as far as possible.
DRAINING THE OIL
- Raise the battery cover (see: 2 - DESCRIPTION: INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS).
- Place a container under the drain plug 1 and unscrew it.
- Remove the filling plug 2 to ensure that the oil is drained properly.
E - EVERY 1000 HOURS OF SERVICE
Carry out the operations described previously as well as the following operations.
E1 – TRANSFER GEARBOX OIL
DRAIN
IMPORTANT
Dispose of the drain oil in an ecological manner.
Place the lift truck on level ground with the transmission oil still warm.
- Place a container under the drain plug 1 and unscrew it.
- Remove the filling plug 2 to ensure that the oil is drained properly.
- Refit and tighten the drain plug (1) (tightening torque 22 N.m).
- Fill up with oil (see: 3 - MAINTENANCE: LUBRICANTS) through the filler port 2.
- Remove the level plug 3, the level is correct when the oil level is flush with the
edge of port.
- Check for any possible leaks at the drain plug.
- Refit and tighten the filling plug 2 and the level plug 3 (tightening torque 22 N.m).
