S  KEY SELECTOR FOR EXCLUSION OF
SAFETY SYSTEM
The Manitou telehandler is equipped with
an electronic safety system which controls
the overload of the macine in the operating
phase.
The system acts automatically to block the
boom movements.
p
It is only in exceptional
cases and for reasons of
safety, that the system can
be deactivated manually.
With the safety system
deactivated, the operator and the
forklift truck are exposed to risks
and there is nothing to prevent
overload and/or overturning of
the vehicle.
Key selector
To disable the Safety System, the operator
must turn (S,3.8), a key selector in the
cab.
Key (1.2,3.8a) is kept inside a safety box
(1.3,3.8a) placed to RH side of the driver’s
(3.8).
Key selector (S,3.8) has two positions:
- safety system is activated (1,
3.8);
- safety system is deactivated (0,
3.8).
During normal use, the key selector is
turned to position (1,3.8), so the safety
system is activated.

S  SELETTORE A CHIAVE PER
L’ESCLUSIONE DEL SISTEMA DI
SICUREZZA
Il sollevatore Manitou è dotato di un sistema
di sicurezza elettronico che controlla il
sovraccarico della macchina durante la fase
di lavoro.
Il sistema interviene automaticamente
bloccando i movimenti del braccio.

Solamente in casi eccezionali
e per motivi di sicurezza,
è possibile disinserire
manualmente il sistema.
Con il sistema di sicurezza
disinserito l’operatore e il carrello
sono esposti a rischi e nulla vieta
il sovraccarico e/o il ribaltamento
del mezzo.
Selettore a chiave
L’operatore per disabilitare il Sistema di
Sicurezza deve girare un selettore (S,
3.8)
a chiave in cabina.
La chiave (1.2,
3.8) è custodita all’interno
di una scatola di sicurezza (1.3,
3.8a) posta
alla destra del guidatore (
3.8).
Il selettore a chiave (S,
3.8) ha due
posizioni
- sistema di sicurezza è inserito (1,
3.8),
- sistema di sicurezza è disinserito
(0,
3.8).
Nel consueto utilizzo di lavoro il selettore
a chiave è ruotato in posizione (1,
3.8),
sistema di sicurezza inserito.
S  NØKKELBRYTER FOR DEAKTIVERING
AV SIKKERHETSSYSTEMET
Manitou-trucken er utstyrt med et
elektronisk sikkerhetssystem som
kontrollerer overbelastningen på maskinen
under arbeidet.
Systemet griper inn automatisk ved å sperre
armens bevegelser.

Kun i spesielle tilfeller og
av sikkerhetsårsaker kan
systemet deaktiveres manuelt.
Når sikkerhetssystemet er
deaktivert, utsettes føreren og
trucken for fare og ingenting kan
hindre at maskinen overbelastes
og/eller velter.
Nøkkelbryter
Føreren må dreie på en nøkkelbryter
(S,
3.8) i førerhuset for å deaktivere
sikkerhetssystemet.
Nøkkelen (1.2,
3.8) oppbevares i en
sikkerhetsboks (1.3,
3.8a) til høyre for
føreren (
3.8).
Nøkkelbryteren (S,
3.8) har to stillinger
- sikkerhetssystemet er aktivert (1,
3.8),
- sikkerhetssystemet er deaktivert
(0,
3.8).
Under vanlig arbeidsbruk er
nøkkelbryteren dreid til stilling (1.3.8),
sikkerhetssystemet aktivert.
