Component Check Procedures
Main Fuse
FUNCTION
The control board fuse stops ice machine operation if
electrical components fail causing high amp draw.
High (line) voltage is applied to the control board
at
all times. Removing the control board fuse or
moving the toggle switch to OFF will not remove
the power supplied to the control board.
Disconnect electrical power to the entire ice
machine before proceeding.
SPECIFICATIONS
QM20/QM30
The main fuse is 250 Volt, 8 amp.
QM45/SM50/Q130/Q170/Q210/Q270
The main fuse is 250 Volt, 10 amp.
CHECK PROCEDURE
1.
If the bin switch light is on with the ice damper
closed, the fuse is good.
2. Remove the fuse. Check the resistance across
the fuse with an ohmmeter
