Filter-Driers
LIQUID LINE FILTER DRIER
The filter-drier used on Manitowoc ice machines are
manufactured to Manitowoc specifications.
The difference between a Manitowoc drier and an off-
the-shelf drier is in filtration.
A Manitowoc drier has
dirt-retaining filtration, with fiberglass filters on both the
inlet and outlet ends. This is very important because
ice machines have a back-flushing action that takes
place during every harvest cycle.
A Manitowoc filter-drier has a very high moisture
removal capability and a good acid removal capacity
.
The liquid line drier is covered as a warranty part.
The
liquid line drier must be replaced any time the
system is opened for repair.
