Enabled speakers for Dolby Atmos playback, set “Assign
Mode” to either “11.1ch” or “9.1ch”.

For the best Auro-3D experience surround height
speakers are recommended, however you may
substitute rear height speakers in place of surround
height speakers.
When using the rear height speakers, set “Assign
Mode” to “9.1ch” or “11.1ch”.

When “Assign Mode” is set to “11.1ch”, set the following items.

Select the number of the height speakers used in MAIN ZONE.
2 Height Speakers
(Default):
Uses a set of (two) height speakers.
4 Height Speakers : Uses two sets of (four) height speakers.
Using Dolby Speakers :
Select when the Dolby Atmos Enabled
speakers are connected.
Upgrade (Auro-3D)
5 Height Speakers:
Uses five height speakers

If “5 Height Speakers” is selected, connect the Top Surround speaker to the
Subwoofer 2 terminal.
