9 – Troubleshooting
•Power does not turn on
Is the power cable firmly plugged in?
• “Disc Error!” appears
Could the disc be soiled? Clean or replace the
disc.
•Can’t playback
Could condensation have occurred? If condensa-
tion has occurred, remove the disc and leave the
unit powered-on for several hours.
•No sound
Check the connections to your monitor system
once again. Also check the volume settings of
your amp.
•Can’t record
•Check the connections once again.
•Check the recording level.
•You can’t record on a playback-only CD. Please
use a recordable CD.
•A setting you changed is not memorized.
The CDR633 saves backup copies of your set-
tings whenever you change mode settings, how-
ever, the backup may fail if you turn off the power
immediately. Avoid turning off the power imme-
diately after making any change.
•Noise or static can be heard.
Please re-position the unit away from strong
sources of magnetism such as a television.
•Can’t insert a disc
Take the disc out and press the (Eject)
button to reset.Then try again.Never use
force to insert the disc into the slot.
