indicator
lights
and
muting

muting
function
is
convenient

turning
off
the
speaker
sound
temporarily.

cancel
muting,

again

ON
THE
USE
OF
REMOTE
CONTROL
UNIT
1.
Remote
contro!
operation
The
distance
between
the
remote
control
unit
(RMC-16PM)
and
the
IR
SENSOR
of
the
main
unit
(PM-16)
should
be
less
than
about
5
m.
To
ensure
remote
control,
do
not
point
the
signal
transmitter
of
the
remote
control
unit
to
other
direction
than
the
IR
SENSOR
and
remove
any
obstacle
between
the
transmitter
and
the
IR
SENSOR.

Loading
batteries
The
life
of
the
batteries
in
the
remote
control
unit
is
about
1
year
under
normal
use.
When
the
remote

unit

not
to
be
used
for
a
lone
period,
remove
batteries
from
it.
When
the
battery
power
weakens,
replace
batteries
before
they
are
completely
exhausted.

Improper
use
of
batteries
may
lead
to

danger

inserted
with
the
correct

indicated
inside
the
battery
case.
2.
Do
not
use
new
and
oid
batteries
together.
3.
Even
when
two
batteries
have
the
same
shape,
their
supply
voltages
may
be
different
depending
on
the
types.
Therefore,
do
not
use
batteries
with
different
types
together.
4.
Some
batteries
are
rechargeable
and
some
are
not.
Read
the
instructions
in
each
battery
carefully.
5.
After
use,
the
batteries
should
be
disposed
of
accruing
to
the
disposal
method
indicated
for
your
local
area.
