3. STANDBY LED ashes while using the unit
(Protection circuit becomes activated)
4. The power turns on but no sound is output

4.1 STANDBY LED not ashing (no protection operation)
4.2 Mute LED ashes when the volume is increased
(protection circuit operates)
The power on/off LED ashes 0.5 seconds on/0.5 seconds off, the VOLUME turns down and auto-
matically recovers.
Check insertion of each connector.
Check insertion of each connector.

Check the conduction of [R3011/R3012](Net-
work) and [R3015/R3016](Recorder).
Check the voltage
MAIN PCB [U3501] 12pin(-15V), 19pin(+15V)
Repair faulty parts.
Check the voltage of [R3805, R3806, U8101,
U8102], check the solder and surrounding
circuits around [U3501], and repair any faulty
sections.
Check insertion of Input level and each con-
nector.
Broken wire in POWER TRANS [T0001].
Damaged Selector [U3501]
Mute circuit [Q6001-6002, Q7501-7502] faulty
Failure of the power amplier circuit.

again when the volume is increased again the STANDBY LED
ashes 0.25 seconds on/0.25 seconds off.
