1. Using the Product as Intended
This signal control box is for controlling the Märklin my world
73491, 74380, und 74371 signals.
2. Safety Notes
Make sure you read the following safety notes before using
this Märklin product for the first time.
•
IMPORTANT! Sharp edges and points required for operation.
Danger of choking due to detachable small parts that may be
swallowed.
• Thisproductmayonlybeusedindoors.
• Donotstorethisproductindirectsunlightorareaswith
extreme swings in temperature or high humidity.
• Visuallyexaminetheswitchedmodepowerpackandits
powercordatregularintervals(dependingonthefrequen-
cy with which you use it to run the trains), at least once a
week, to make sure it is not damaged. Do this examination
with the power pack unplugged from the household
current. If you have the least suspicion of damage, do not
use the power pack again until it has been repaired by the
Märklin Repair Department.
2.1 Important Notes
• Theinstructionsforuseareacomponentpartofthe
signal control box and must therefore be kept in a safe
place as well as transferred along with the signal control
box to third parties.
• Thissignalcontrolboxmayonlybeusedinconjunction
withthe66361/66365switchedmodepowerpackandthe
194548 Base Station.

repairs or spare parts.

5. Setup and Connections
Setup may be done only under the supervision of adults.
Unplug the switched mode power pack from the household
current in order to prevent damage during setup. Do not plug
the switched mode power pack in the wall outlet again until
you are finished with all of the wiring.
