MAINS ELECTRICITY SUPPLY AND OUTPUT
IMPEDANCE
Thespecicmainsinputvoltagerangthatyour
amphasbeenmanufacturedforisindicatedon
therearpaneloftheamp.Yourampisprovided
withadetachablemains(power)lead,which
shouldbeconnectedtothemainsinputsocket
ontherearpaneloftheamp.
Thecorrectvalueandtypeofmainsfuseis
speciedontherearpaneloftheamp.Never
aempttobypassthefuseortoneofthe
incorrectvalueortype.
Theoutput impedance selectorshouldbeset
tothetotalimpedanceofthespeakercabinet(s)
(orload)beingused.
Ifyouhaveanydoubtregardingyourmains
electricitysupplyortheimpedanceofspeaker
cabinet(s),pleaseseekhelpfromaqualied
engineer–yourMarshalldealercanhelpyou
withthis.
Warning:yourampmustbeswitchedoand
disconnectedfromthemainselectricitysupply
beforeyou:
• checkand/orchangeanyfuse;and/or
• changetheoutputselectorforadierent
seng.
Failuretocomplywithanyofthepointsabove
maydamageyouramp.
IMPORTANT SET UP INFORMATION
1. Settheoutputimpedanceselectortothe
impedanceofthecombinedloadofthe
speakercabinet(s)youwillbeusing.
2. Checkthattheinternalspeakerand/or
extensioncabinetsthatyouwanttouseare
pluggedintothespeakeroutputscorrectly.
Note: Therearetwoparallelspeakeroutput
jacksocketsprovidedforconnecontothe
internalspeakerand/oranexternalload,
e.g.speakerextensioncabinet(s).Theampis
suppliedwiththeinternalspeakerconnected
tooneofthespeakeroutputjacksockets.

foundlaterinthisguide.
Warning:failuretodotheabovemaydamage
youramp.Whenconnecngaspeakercabinet
makesurethatyouuseaproperspeakercable.
Neveruseascreened(shielded)guitarcablefor
thispurpose.
3. Ensurethatboththepowerswitchand
standbyswitcharesettotheoposion.
4. Connectthesuppliedmains(power)lead
intothepowerinletontherearpanelrst
andthenintoanelectricityoutlet.
5. Ensurethatanymaster,volumeand/or
outputlevelcontrolsonthefrontpanelare
settozero.
6. Plugyourguitarintooneoftheinputson
thefrontpanel.
7. Turnthepowerswitchonandwaitacouple
ofminutes.
8. Turnthestandbyswitchon.
9. Turnthevolumeuptoyourpreferredlevel
andyou’rereadytoplay.
TRANSPORTING YOUR EQUIPMENT
Pleaseensurethatyourampisswitchedo,
unpluggedfromthemainselectricitysupplyand
allremovablecableshavebeendisconnectedfrom
yourequipmentbeforeaempngtomoveit.
Onlymovetheamponitsown.Donotaempt
tomoveitwhileitisstackedontopofacabinet
orotherequipment.
