General Description

Safety Rules

Operator Manual Study

Vibration and Handling Precautions

Be aware of vibration effects like Whitefinger disease. Hold firmly with both hands and maintain a firm foothold.

Safe Transport and Starting

Switch off engine before carrying. Secure in vehicle. Empty fuel tank before transport. Start on flat surface with firm footing.

Safety Usage

Pre-Operation Checks and Familiarization

Familiarize with controls and check machine for loose parts or leaks before operation.

Work Area Preparation and Harness Adjustment

Clear work area of debris. Adjust harness for balance and ensure pole barrier is correctly assembled.

Blade Condition and Thrust Warning

Use a sharpened blade. Worn teeth can cause sudden thrust and loss of control. Replace damaged blades.

Fuel Mix

Refuelling and Fuel Storage Safety

Do not smoke when refuelling. Refuel in open spaces. Store fuel in approved container away from flames/sparks.

Engine and Shaft Housing Attachment

Attach engine to shaft housing securely. Do not run engine without shaft housing as clutch may fly off.

Starting and Stopping the Engine

Engine Starting Procedure (GX/TLE Series)

Press safety lever, hold throttle, push start knob. Start engine per manual. Release throttle lever to idle.

Push the stop knob to stop the engine. Be aware rotating parts may continue to spin briefly.
