Door Phone Card
• The Door Phone Card in ETERNITY PE is used for operating gadgets and door 
phones. 
• If you have connected a Door Phone to the door phone port, go to ‘Door Phone’ 
to program the door phone related parameters.
• If you have connected a relay-based device like a Door Lock, a hooter or a 
siren, or any other automated control application, first go to ‘DOP’ under 
System Parameters and program the port.
• Similarly, go to ‘DIP’ under System Parameters to program the Digital Input Port, 
if you have connected any sensor device.
• If you have connected any gadget that you want to operate remotely, using a 
command, or a timetable, or based on a timer, go to ‘Automated Control 
Applications’ to program the relevant parameters. 
• Please read the topics Digital Output Port, Digital Input Port, Door Phone and 
Automated Control Applications in the System Manual before configuring the 
Door Phone Card. 
• To exit the SE programming mode in Jeeves, click ‘Logout’ button at bottom of 
the browser window.
VMS Card
• The ETERNITY automatically assigns un-used SLT software ports (SLT ports 
which are not assigned any hardware slot-port) as VMS port.   
• The SLT software ports used by VMS card automatically get configured in 
Routing Group number 96. 
• The ETERNITY automatically assigns Routing Group number 96 as VMS 
Group.
• Default access code of the VMS group is 3931, You may change this access 
code on the ‘Access Codes’ page of Jeeves.
 
• To land incoming calls on VMS, program Routing Group 96 as Trunk Landing 
Group (TLG) in the trunk feature template assigned to the respective trunks.
