Configuring SATATYA NVR
Formatting the Hard Disk
You can format the hard disks you have installed from the Local Client or Device Client.
From Local Client
To format the Hard Disk you have installed in the NVR, make sure you have connected a
Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard to the NVR, the NVR is powered on and is working.
Invoke the tool bar using the mouse.
•Log in with the Username (default: admin) and Password (as set by you).
• Click Settings on the Toolbar.
• Click Storage and Backup Settings and then click HDD.
•The HDD Management page appears. Click Format of the desired disk to format it.
SATATYA NVR will start formatting the hard disk.The status of the hard disk will change from
Normal to Creating and then to Formatting.
From Device Client
• Make sure you have installed the Device Client installed on your PC.
• Double-click the Device Client icon.
• In the address bar enter the current IP Address of your NVR and press the Enter key of your
keyboard.
• Enter the Username (default: admin) and Password (as set by you).
• Click Login.
