8.17 ENTERTAINMENT TROUBLESHOOTING – PICTURE FUZZY OR UNCLEAR
1.RemovetheTVandconsolebackcovers(FigureA)Usingaveriedgoodpieceofcoaxcable,hookthecoaxdirectlytotheTVjack.This
bypasses internal connections for your machine or TV stand (Figure B).
2. If this does not clear your picture the issue is with the club's signal. Make sure that the coax has a signal strength of at least 10db.
3.IfStep1doesclearyourpicture,checktheinternalcablesandttingsinsideyourmachine.Makesureyouhavenodamage(kinks,cutsetc)
andnostraywiresorpoorttingsontheendsofthecablesanywherethatthecoaxcableisconnected(FiguresC&D).Fittingsshouldhavea
cleanushconnectorandnostrayaluminumstrandstouchingthecenterconductor.Replaceorrepairanysuspectcables.
4.Ifnothingisvisiblywrongwithanyofthecables,ttings,orconnectorsreplacetheinternalcoaxcablesandconnectorswithknowngood
parts.
