*1 A Mazda genuine child restraint system can be installed in the forward-facing position.
When installing a child-restraint system to the front passenger seat, adjust the seat bottom to the highest
position so that the seat belt can securely fasten the child-restraint system.
*2 A Mazda genuine child restraint system can be installed in the rearward-facing position.
NOTE
When installing a child-restraint system, the following points must be observed:

If the child-restrai nt system does not fit into the seatback because of the head restraint,
adjust the head restraint height or remove the head restraint so that the child-restraint
system fits into the seatback.
Refer to Head Restraints on page 2-14.
l
When installing a child-restraint system to the rear seat, adjust the front seat position
so that the front seat does not contact the child-restraint system.
Refer to Seat Operati on on page 2-5.
