Folding Guardrails
Folding Guardrail Instructions
The platform railing system consists of three fold down rail
sections.
Fully lower the machine, extend the platform extension,
have the Xtra Deck stowed and the telescopic guardrails
lowered.
Pull each of the bottom spring loaded plunger pins (A)
individually but when releasing the last pin hold the guardrail
in the center on either the left hand or right hand side to
prevent the guardrail from slamming down.
Pull the plunger pins (B) on the entry gate to fold down the
top of the entry gate. Keep hands clear of pinch points.
Pull the right hand guardrail clevis pins (C) to fold down the
right rail assembly. Keep hands clear of pinch points.
Pull the left hand guardrail clevis pins (C) to fold down the
right left assembly. Keep hands clear of pinch points.
To return the machine to normal operation mode:
Using a reverse procedure fold-up each of the guardrail
sections and ensure the retaining snap pins or plunger pins
are engaged.
Lift all rails into their upright position, then secure them with
spring pins.
Check that the entry gate functions properly.
DO NOT use the machine until all closures and guard rails are in
position and properly secured.
