2.2 Gas cylinders
Depending on the options, the Ergocard device requires one or more gas cylinders. Some
recommendations need to be followed carefully in order to avoid any risk for the patient or
the device.
Location of the gas cylinder outside the trolley
Do not place a compressed gas cylinder near the system. It might fall by
accident, break the system and cause injury to the patient.
Gas cylinders should be positioned at least 2 meters from the system.
For maximum safty, the cylinders should be attached to the wall with a chain
to prevent them from falling.
