Verification of the system
If one or the two traffic lights are yellow or red, the operator has to perform a verification of
the system as described below.
If the zero traffic light is yellow or red:
•
Verify the room is well ventilated and the temperature is not greater than 35°C.
•
Verify the ambient port in the side panel of the module is free.
If the sensitivity traffic light is yellow or red:
•
Verify the gas cylinder is opened, the fill in pressure of the cylinder is greater than 20
bars (290 psi) and the output pressure of the reducer is set to 3,5 bars (50 psi) or 4,5
bars (65 psi) depending on the module.
•
Verify the connection between the cylinder and the module. Verify the gas cylinder is
connected to the right gas inlet of the module.
•
Verify the validity date of the gas cylinder (indicated on the analyse certificate).
•
Verify the encoding of the gas concentration in the calibration menu.
After the verification of the system
Perform again a calibration of the gas analysers and check the results.
Deviation less than 5%. Calibration is now good and the system can be used.
Deviation between 5 and 10%. The calibration is acceptable and the system
can be used. The deviation could be the sign that a maintenance of the device
is necessary. Please contact your Medisoft representative.
Deviation greater than 10%. The calibration is not acceptable. A verification of
the system by a field service technician is required. Please contact your
Medisoft representative.
