SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
Save them for future reference.
General
• Unpack and check the tool and all the parts for transport damage. Contact your dealer immediately in the event
of any damage.
• Check that no parts are missing.
• Only use spare parts, wearing parts and accessories, recommended by the manufacturer.
• Specify the part number, tool model and year of manufacture, when ordering spare parts and wearing parts.
Safety instructions
• Persons who are not familiar with these instructions should not use, adjust or maintain the tool.
• Follow all the safety and warning labels on the tool.
• The safety and warning labels on the tool must be intact and legible. Replace them immediately if necessary.
• Check the power cord for any damage. Do not use damaged power cords.
• Make sure that the tool is standing rmly on a stable surface.
• Keep the work area well lit.
• IMPORTANT: Risk of hand and nger injuries when working with a rotating tool.
• Do not use the tool unless all the safety devices and guards are correctly installed and working.
• Store the tool out of the reach of children when not in use.
• The tool must not be used by persons under 18. Persons over 16 may use the tool under supervision as part of
their training.
• Never interrupt someone who is working with the tool.
• Keep the worktable free from shavings and pieces of wood.
• Do not wear loose-tting clothes, jewellery, or watches etc. that can fasten in moving parts.
• Wear safety glasses, ear protection and a dust lter mask.
• Wear a hair net if you have long hair.
• Do not wear gloves when working with the tool, except when handling rough workpieces.
• Do not exceed the maximum permitted speed for the tool.
• Never remove or bypass the tool's safety devices.
• Switch o the tool, unplug the power cord and wait until all moving parts have stopped completely before
adjusting, replacing parts, cleaning or carrying out maintenance.
• Fixed electrical connections and other electrical work must only be carried out by an authorised electrician.
• Replace all safety devices and guards after repairs and maintenance.

• Use a dust extractor with an air speed of at least 20 m/s at the hose connection.
• Check the saw blade control and tension of the saw blade before starting.
• Do not use damaged or deformed saw blades.
• Replace the saw table insert immediately if it is damaged or worn.
• Round wood must be clamped so that it cannot turn.
• Support heavy and/or large workpieces with roller supports, or the equivalent.
• Place the upper saw blade guide as close as possible to the workpiece.
• On tilted tables the length stop is fastened on the lower part of the table.
