Switch off the tool, unplug the power cord and wait until all moving parts have
stopped completely before carrying out any repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
Wear safety gloves.
Wear safety shoes.
Wear suitable clothing.
Do not use the tool near electric cables or telephone lines.
Keep at a safe distance of 10 m from live cables when working with the
pole saw.
