• The chain must be driving when the saw is pulled out of the wood.
• If several cuts are to be made the tool should be switched off between the cuts.
• Cleaving and tenon sawing should only be carried out by qualified personnel (risk of kickback).
• Lengthwise sawing should be carried out as level as possible. Be extra careful, because the bumper
• If the chain jams, the top of the bar on the chain saw can kick back towards the user. The sawing
should therefore be done with underside of the bar when possible, because then the saw kicks away
from the body towards the wood.
