4.5 End-of-life product disposal
VM600 machinery protection system (MPS) hardware is an electrical/electronic product,
therefore, it must be disposed of in a acceptable manner at the end of its useful life. This is
important in order to reduce pollution and improve resource efficiency.
NOTE: At the end of its useful life, a VM600-rack based monitoring system must be
disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
In European Union Member States, the WEEE directive is applicable.
In other countries and regions of the world, different laws and regulations may be
applicable, so please consult your local authorities.
