Procedure to Convert Fireplace for LP Gas
Converting the Burner Orifice
This fireplace arrives from the factory ready to burn natural gas. If you intend to burn LP gas, it is highly recommended that you
convert this fireplace and its pressure regulator, pilot natural gas/LP clip position and burner orifice prior to placing this
fireplace in its fireplace cavity.
Follow the step below to prepare this fireplace for conversion to LP gas:
1. Remove the glass frame. Directions to remove the glass frame are in this manual. See section “TO REMOVE DOOR”
2. Remove the floor plate from the fireplace. The floor plate goes around the pilot. When lifting the floor plate be careful to lift it
straight up past the pilot hood. Then hold the floor plate at an angle to get it through the front opening of the fireplace.
