2. Snap out the retainer and remove filter.

INSTALLATION
1. Install filter into cover.
2. Secure filter into cover with retainer.
Alternator Belt Inspection
1. Inspect the alternator belt and have it replaced by an authorized dealer if any of the following
conditions are found.
a. Cracks or deterioration in the rubber portion of the belt.
b. Belt surfaces rough or uneven.
c. Signs of wear on edges or outer surfaces of belt.

Lubrication Points
1. Lubricate the following with Quicksilver or Mercury Precision Special Lubricant 101.
