One anode is installed in the engine block. Remove the flange screw at the
location shown. Remove the screw securing the anode. Fasten the anode to
the flange screw. Tighten the screw to the specified torque. Install the flange
screw with a new O‑ring. Tighten the flange screw to the specified torque.

Damaged spark plug boots may emit sparks that can ignite fuel vapors under
the engine cowl, resulting in serious injury or death from a fire or explosion.
To avoid damaging the spark plug boots, do not use any sharp object or
metal tool to remove the spark plug boots.
