Trailering Boat/Outboard
1 Trailer your boat with the outboard tilted down when ever pos-
sible (vertical operating position).
2 If additional ground clearance is required for, railroad crossings,
driveways or trailer bouncing, support the outboard using a sup-
port device. Contact your local dealer for recommendations.
IMPORTANT: Do not rely on the power trim/tilt system or tilt
support lever to maintain proper ground clearance for trailer-
ing. The outboard tilt support lever is not intended to support
the outboard for trailering.
To prevent the propeller from spinning freely shift into forward gear.
