DRAINING GEARCASE
1. Place outboard in a vertical operating position.
2. Place drain pan below outboard.
3. Remove fill/drain plug and vent plug and drain lubricant.

GEARCASE LUBRICANT CAPACITY
Standard model gearcase: Approximately 320 ml (10.8 fl. oz.).
Bigfoot model gearcase: Approximately 370 ml (12.5 fl. oz.).
GEARCASE LUBRICANT RECOMMENDATION
Mercury or Quicksilver Premium or High Performance Gear
Lubricant.
CHECKING LUBRICANT LEVEL AND REFILLING
GEARCASE
1. Place outboard in a vertical operating position.
2. Remove vent plug from vent hole.
