Raising and Lowering the Trolling Motor

WARNING
Rotating propellers can cause serious injury or death. Never start or
operate the motor out of water.
!
CAUTION
Moving parts, such as hinges and pivot points, can cause serious
injury. Keep away from moving parts when stowing, deploying, or
tilting the motor.
RAISING THE MOTOR
1. Raise the motor by pulling on the mount rope handle. Do not let
the weight of the motor cause it to drop.

2. Pull the rope handle until the motor can be laid across the mount
into the stow position.
