Adjusting the Motor Depth
Hand operated motors: Loosen the depth adjustment collar so the
motor column moves freely up and down. Raise or lower the motor
column until the propeller blades are submerged 15–30 cm (6–12 in.)
below the water surface and tighten the collar.

IMPORTANT: Adjust the breakaway knobs on the side of the mount
so the motor will breakaway when encountering underwater
obstacles. Do not overtighten or lubricate the breakaway knob.
