SERIAL NUMBERS RECORD
The serial numbers are the manufacturer's keys to numerous
engineering details that apply to your Mercury Marine power
package. When contacting your authorized Mercury Marine dealer
about service, always specify model and serial numbers.
1. The engine serial number is printed on a decal located on the
port side of the camshaft timing gear cover.
2. The transom serial number is located on the starboard side of
the outer transom assembly under the plastic transom cover.
