TABLE 5.1
LED INDICATIONS
Many error conditions can lead to a red status led as follows:
Any instrument (attitude, airspeed or altitude) is in an invalid state.
o This is normal for a few seconds following initial power-on, until the system
is fully initialized.
o Most likely cause of this persisting longer is “handling” the unit during
initialization, such that the AHRS system is still trying to initialize the horizon
reference.
o Another cause might be pitot/static sources swapped or significant positive
pressure on the static source.
o If the error does not clear, it could be an internal system failure.
Mismatch between configuration module and internal settings.
o This will happen when installing a new unit to an existing configuration
module. The external settings will overwrite internal memory. Upon next
reboot, this error will clear.
Settings missing or invalid.
o If the settings in the external or internal memory have not been reconciled,
this error will persist upon subsequent reboot. It may be possible to
reconfigure the unit to attempt to fix the problem, but it is otherwise likely to
require service.
Note: If the STAT indicator remains red after one minute, but changes to green
following power-cycle, it is possible that settings have changed from their intended
values. The unit operation should be externally verified before returning to service.
