Problem Possible cause and remedy
The indicator lights and
display are dark. Only
the "Start/Stop"
indicator flashes slowly.
The indicators and the display switch off
automatically to save energy (Standby mode).
 Press the  button. This switches Standby off.
The following fault
message appears in the
display:
Salt reservoir lid
The salt reservoir lid is not closed properly.
 Close the salt reservoir lid.
If the salt reservoir lid has opened during a
programme:
 Switch the dishwasher off and then on again with
the button.
 Start the programme again.
The following fault
message appears in the
display during a
programme:
Spray arm blocked
The middle spray arm is blocked by crockery.
 Open the dishwasher door and rearrange the items
which are obstructing the spray arm.
The spray arm jets of the middle arm are clogged.
 Switch the dishwasher off with the button.
Then:
 Clean the spray arm (see "Cleaning and care").
Detergent residue is left
in the dispenser at the
end of a programme.
The dispenser was still damp when detergent was
added.
 Make sure the dispenser is dry before adding
detergent.
The detergent
dispenser lid cannot be
closed properly.
Residual cleaning agent is blocking the catch.
 Remove the cleaning agent.
At the end of a
programme there is a
film of moisture on the
inside of the door and
the interior walls.
This is caused by the drying system
and does not indicate a fault.
The moisture will dissipate after a short while.
