Cleaning the lint filter

Check and clean the lint filter
when the following message shows:
"Clean the filters" or "Clean out
airways".
A two-piece lint filter in the dryer fan
cavity collects the lint. It has to be
removed and disassembled.
Note: Use a vacuum cleaner to clean
the lint filter without touching it.
Removing the lint filter

Press on the right side of the flap to
open it.

Pull the lint filter out by its handle.
Disassembling the lint filter

Hold the lint filter with both handles
and twist the inner filter towards you,
then pull apart (see illustration).
